The 4400: Revisited
Well, I started rewatching the entire series of The 4400 the other day. It's a decent scifi show that USA Networks made a couple of years back. Plot summary (thanks to imdb.com) is:
"As the reappearance of 4,400 missing persons on a single day confounds the global community, federal agents on the case slowly discover the ways in which the victims have been changed."
Meh. Not the best plot summary ever. But you can't really say much more than that without giving alot of plot away. The plot of this show and how it interleaves is pretty well put together. In most scifi, you can definitely feel a sense of continuity as the seasons go on, and "The 4400" isn't any exception.
I was planning on going on a rant about how the real world needs an event like this just to give ourselves a wake up call, but I'd rather wait until I have some coherence.

... Never a bride?
I am amused at how people automatically think that because DreamHost uses mod_security and Drupal that my earlier post about making Drupal and mod_security work together actually would apply to them. Read it again. Yep, thats what I meant to type. Look, it was a suggestion to help get random Joes Drupal installation working with mod_security, so that you can hope to have a secure install of Drupal (a rarity these days, it would seem). If it doesn't work with DreamHost, I am truly sorry for my error.
Idiots.
We’ll miss you, David Tennant
Well, it seems official. David Tennant will no longer play the Doctor after the series finishes the 2009 season. It seems that all of my favorite series are coming to a close, with nothing good to replace them with. I realize that Doctor Who will continue on with a new actor to play the Doctor, but will he be even as close as good as Tennant was?
All we've got to go on now as SciFi fans is the rumored political spinoff of Stargate. Oh, and maybe True Blood. I really wish I was kidding 
Holy crap, what are you doing?
Last night before I went to bed, I realized I have the same problem that alot of people who share my technolust have. That is, if we have a blog, we spend more time hacking on the code than we do actually posting things. Which I guess isn't such a bad thing, but in my case I really needed somewhere I could throw stuff about all of the projects and things I'm working on, without going "Gee, I bet I could add this feature really quick" or "Wow, you know what would be cool? let me add this feature!". I just want somewhere I can dump my ideas/whatever and not have to fuss with anything. I still have a special place in my heart for BlogUnknown, and also feather (which I'll eventually get to work), but for now this blog is going to stay WordPress only. I've got it fairly locked down anyway, so I dont have to worry about the masses, and plus, its shiny. Ooh. Shiny.
